Update: 8:46 pm- They let mom go back in again and he is still doing good. They are going to remove the tubes and the balloon pump (which they kept in) some time tomorrow which means he will have to lie flat for 6 hours with not much movement. They will probably keep him sedated throughout this time and then try to get him moving around sometime on Thursday.
Update: 7:22 pm- He opened his eyes for a min and looked at mom when the nurse told him she was in the room. They have him heavily sedated.
Update: 3:04 pm- Mom and Aunt Jill were able to go back and look at Matt through the window. Now, Prayers for a speedy recovery from surgery!! :)
Update: 1:26 pm- Doctors said they were pleased with the surgery. He had very little bleeding and his numbers look good! PRAISE GOD!!
Update: 11:14 am- They are closing him up right now. The doctors should be out to talk to my mom around 12:00 pm. I will keep you posted.
Update: 9:19 am- Surgery started about 15 mins ago!

ReplyDeleteI think 15 min visits for friends & family is a lot easier....limiting to a few a day. Immediate family can be there whenever you want. (Cause you can fall asleep on them and not feel bad) You love company and their support, but it does wear you out. Excited to hear how he is doing!
ReplyDeleteGreat news!!!!
